09.06.10 While She Was OutSusan Montford
09.06.10 Survival of the DeadGeorge A. RomeroRomero can keep making them and I'll keep watching. While I didn't think it was his best, I thought SOTD was a solid, fun, zombie flick with some great humorous moments.
09.06.10 MacheteRobert RodriguezA total blast!
09.05.10 Don't Look NowNicolas Roeg
09.04.10 Exterminators of the Year 3000Giuliano CarnimeoBasically an Italian Road Warrior where people are hunting for water instead of gas. I wonder why they don't just go to the ocean. But beyond that, given it's a ripoff, it's not half bad. Some good action scenes with lots of slow motion car wrecks and leads named Alien and Trash and a young kid with a cyborg arm. More fun than I expected, but not perfect.
09.04.10 Rolling ThunderJohn FlynnOne of the best revenge movies I've had the pleasure of seeing. Not only is it based in Texas, but William Devane and a young Tommy Lee Jones kick the crap out of everyone. Great stuff!
09.04.10 Times SquareAllan MoyleExcellent girl empowerment flick based in the sleazy Times Square in NY of old. Great performances all around, especially from the 2 girls and Tim Curry. Highly enjoyable.
09.04.10The LosersSylvain White
09.04.10 Withnail and IBruce Robinson
09.04.10 Road GamesRichard FranklinLoved this movie. They wanted to make Rear Window on the road and they succeeded. Stacy Keach is fantastic and it has lots of suspenseful moments. It's only marred by the goofy ending that seems tacked on. Otherwise, its yet another fine Richard Franklin film!
09.03.10 Scott Pilgrim vs. The WorldEdgar WrightSo good I had to see it twice in the theater!
